Multiple, temporary water shutdowns in Norwalk, starting tomorrow.  The city says that due to new water main construction on Milan Avenue, properties located between Republic Street and Lais Road will individually have water service shut off temporarily.  Most of these interruptions should be less than an hour, but could vary. The cause of a fire at a factory in Milan on Friday is under investigation.  The Norwalk Reflector reports that the blaze occurred at Johns Manville on Lockwood Road, affecting the factory’s shipping department. An estimated $1.5 million in damage was done, according to Milan Township Fire Chief Brian Rospert. Read more…
