Girl Scout Slow Pitch Softball Program open to all girls ages 5-15 (by July 31st, 2010) with registration dates as follows:  Monday, Feb. 15 from 6 - 8 p.m.; Monday, Feb. 22 from 6 - 8 p.m.; Wednesday, Feb. 24 from 6 - 8 p.m.; Saturday, Mar. 6 from 11 - 2 p.m. at the Salvation Army, 3333 Columbus Ave., Sandusky.  Cost is $45 Non-Girl Scouts or $35 Registered Girl Scouts.  All girls must show a copy of their birth certificate in order to be eligible to play.  This League open to all girls regardless of experience.  For more information call Becky Bishop @ 800-222-6119, ext. 6227.

Your 2010 Dog Licenses must be purchased by January 31, 2010.  All dogs three months & older must have a license.  After January 31st, the fee is doubled and you are in violation of the law.  The law also mandates that the dog license must be displayed on the dog.  Failure to do so could also cause the owner to be cited.

Newcomers & Friends meeting at the Realtors Hall, 2710 Campbell St., Sandusky, at 6:30 p.m.  A guest speaker from Care & Share will be there and will be collecting non-perishable food items.  This is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to welcome newcomers to the area, to organize involvement in community service projects and to promote charitable & civic causes.
